This free recital features award-winning concert harpist Iraida Pobereshnaya, who has performed extensively both nationally and internationally.

A concert harpist with a broad repertoire Iraida Pobereshnaya has performed extensively both nationally and internationally playing music from Baroque through the 20th century, with a particular focus on the Romantic period and the Belle Epoque. She has played with ensembles in Europe and the United States, including the St. Stanislavski Opera and Ballet Theatre in Moscow as well as the Prince George’s Philharmonic. Holding a doctorate in music, she is an award-winning performer and a prizewinner at the International Harp Competitions in Azerbaijan and Israel.
