Seeking Fitness in the Park Instructor

The Department of Parks and Recreation is seeking individuals with prior fitness experience to instruct Fitness in the Parks sessions. Fitness in the Parks is a free exercise program that provides a variety of fitness opportunities within our parks and natural areas across Prince George’s County. Classes run spring, summer, and fall at M-NCPPC sites throughout Prince George’s County. Each of our classes is scheduled for approximately one hour and are designed for all fitness levels. Qualified instructors will teach line dancing, Zumba®, cross training, sculpt & tone, boot camp, family fitness, Tai Chi or Yoga classes.

Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Instructor positions are located countywide. Work schedule may include a variety of shifts including weekends. Instructors must have a valid certification in their discipline and a valid CPR/First Aid certification.
