Afternoon Aviators
Join our museum educators as we investigate a range of STEAM topics, and explore the multidisciplinary field of aviation. After a quick lesson about aviation, participants will be able to put their newfound knowledge to the test with a hands-on activity. This program will be offered every 4th Wednesday of the month at 2 PM and is FREE with museum admission. Afternoon Aviators is ideal for learners 8-12 years of age.
Cub Corner
Come to the Cub Corner story time at 10:30 am on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month for preschool fun! Ideal for little learners up to five years old to enjoy a flight-themed story and hands-on craft activity. FREE with museum admission!
Discovery Carts
On select school holidays and closings, we offer FREE educational Discovery Cart programs from 11-2 pm. Explore a different topic related to aviation, history, and/or science through a hands-on lesson, activity, and/or experiment. Engineering 101
What is an engineer? Engineers design and build things to solve specific problems. Learn the basics of engineering through an interactive, hands-on challenge. Construct your own design from plans to prototype. $5 per participant includes museum admission and supplies.
